Part of my job teaching all levels of guitarists is to write custom exercises to help students overcome technical difficulties and musical challenges.
For as long as I can afford to produce and give away some of my work to fellow musicians, I will. Please enjoy it and share it if you like. If it helps you improve I would love to hear about it.
In the meantime you can check my facebook page too for free stuff and give me a shout - it would be nice to hear from you.
In no particular order, please help yourselves to my transcriptions, exercises, Graded solo guitar pieces and callisthenics. You will find free video demonstrations for a lot of what I've written on my videos page and on my youTube channel. All I ask in return is that you let me know how you get on by contacting me on Facebook or Twitter.
This is a Julian Bream inspired version of a Baroque guitar piece transcribed for classical guitar. The Baroque guitar has double strings so I used Julian Breams recording to guide my transcription. I think I have it pretty close.

Thanks to the very miserable weather, I've had time to do a Grade 1 Solo, A Grade 1 Duet and Grade 3 level arrangements of the song performed by Billie Eilish. The Grade 1 version here is written in C to make use of accidentals for the benefit of my Grade 1 students. I've included chords so this arrangement can be simplified as a strumming exercise.
The Grade 1 Duet is simpler to play for the student as the teacher parts takes over the bass and arpeggio, leaving just the vocal melody for the student.
The Grade 3 version sounds better since it is truer to the original phrasing - without so many rhythmic compromises. I hope to find time to record both versions for YouTube soon.

This is tough to play at performance tempo but fear not, I'll have a set of progressive exercises up here soon that will help develop the all the techniques you need to play this riff.
